Regardless of plot problems though, the game has gone down as a modern classic and pushed the developers to geeky stardom. The game drew critiscism in later levels however for being incredibly difficult and have a laughable story. On release, Far Cry was a massive hit, striking out of the blue with gorgeous graphics and stunning level design. FilePlanet is offering a full version of the game to download for free. If you still haven't got around to playing one of the defining games of recent years however, or if you just don't know what the hell I'm talking about, then now is your chance. Later, when I came back to the game with a new GPU, I enjoyed it throughly, loving the sandbox approach and what is arguably one of the most fun sniper rifles in any game, ever. It seems as if time has stopped in Yara, the Far Cry 6 location, as wandering through the country feels like travelling back to the 60's.
